Newspapers deserve to die

We all know newspapers are slowly dying. Competition from the internet may be one cause, but newspapers hardly help themselves by simply being so bad. The Guardian has a great example in Zoe William’s whine about how her baby is more affectionate towards his father than to her.

Babies are like that. It will probably be different later, and almost certain that an older child will love both its parents. Why can she and her friends not just grow up stop bothering about it like the rest of the world does?

This is supposed to be the superior content that we can get from the mainstream media, rather than from blogs. I am convinced! I should stop wasting my time on all those free amateur (i.e. not written by journalists) blogs like this or this and buy the Guardian to read Zoe William’s insightful analysis!
